Evolution vs. Intellectual Design

Personally, I believe in evolution. Evolution is the THEORY that it all started with the big bang, and then, from there, we evolved into what we are today, while Intellectual Design is the THEORY that God created all. Although many people

galileo's hija

Not only did Mary, Galileo's daughter, take care of his financial needs, but also took care of him when it came to his health. She gave her father medicine that he needed in order to stay alive. By bringing him food, giving him medicine, and taking care of his financial needs, Mary played a major role in Galileo's life.
She went above and beyond what normal daughters do; she was there for him mentally, medicinally, and financially.
If it was not for Mary, many of Galileo's discoveries would have never been published, and much of our understanding and knowledge would be different. Mary was her father's personal editor on many books that he had written. She would basically proof read his stuff, analyze, critique, and give her thoughts and opinions. She would them send the book back.

Galileo would not have been able to do half of the things he did if it weren't for his daughter...
cause he might have dropped dead.

JUST WAR

In the Middle Ages, St. Augustine presented the Just War theory. He believed that war was a sin, while still having an understanding that it also inevitable. He believed the only rationalization for war was to hope to achieve peace.
He created seven principles of the Just War.
The seven are:
1.) Last Resort
- he believes that one should try everything else, before resorting to war.
2.) Initiated by the government or a higher power- No one but the government can begin war.
3.) Chance of success- If one does not have any chance of winning, one shall not proceed.
4.) Right intentions- Make sure that you are going into war for good reasons. Morally correct and all.
5.) Re-establish peace- peace and love, brother!
6.) Proportionality- use a minimum amount of force
7.) Don't attack civilians- like "don't fuck with the cows"... self explanatory

how does [HITLER] tie his shoes? IN KNOTTSIES!!

TALK ABOUT FALLACIES!
Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf is filled with fallacies:
First off, the idiot makes a false analogy when he compares us to animals. He states that animals only mate with those of the same species. A false analogy is when the writer creates an analogy, and has no proof of the connection, and this is a perfect example. Although Napoleon Dynamite proves Hitler correct, with his ligers, Hitler is still very wrong. Since there are no sub-species of humans, his analogy can immediately be considered false. WE ARE ALL THE SAME (besides race, etc)

AqUiNa'S 5

Out of St. Thomas Aquina's many absurd statements, his 4th was by far the most ridiculous.
His 4th way states that God is the one who determines what is good, great, beautiful, etc.
I, personally, think this is a load of crap. Beauty is opinionated; i do not think one should be able to state a fact by saying something is beautiful. That goes as well for great and good. If God declares something beautiful and one does not agree, is that not going against the word of God?
I do not know for sure, but I would think that disagreeing with God is a sin. In that case, are some of sinners for being opionated?
